KX=number of vertical (unevenly space) sigma levels (kx = 18).
MX= max number of zonal waves, JX= max number of meridional waves , IX=number of longitudes, IY=number of latitudes.
First longitude starts at the Greenwich meridian and the logitudes are evenly spaced going west to east. Latitudes are Gaussian, going north to south.
