Abstract: New observations of the solar semidiurnal surface pressure oscillations (S₂(P)) at 35 stations throughout the world are presented. These observation are used to supplement those in the literature to produce a large compilation of S₂(P) data (403 stations). The geographical distribution of S₂(P) is then examined by fitting a series of Hough functions to the station data.
