17 year means of power spectra for zonal wind at ~200 hPa in the west-entral Pacific Ocean equatorial region. There appears to generally less power in the 60-90 day range here as compared to the Indian ocean with the 18 level AM1 having spectral peaks closest to the NCEP (around 50 and 90 days), while the AMIP2 and the 30 level appear stronger in the 60-90 day range.
