Notes:
- 17 year means of power spectra for zonal wind at ~200 hPa in
the Indian Ocean equatorial region. All GCM simulations exhibit
mostly red spectra with the NCEP showing some peaks in the 40-60
day range. The AM1 simulations appear to have excessive power in
the 60-90 day range.
